1. What is DittoForm made out of?
The DittoForm is constructed from a firm durable foam that is completely pin-able. We use a UV-resistant, closed cell foam. *It is latex-free.
DittoForm’s cover is jersey knit fabric with body marking lines. The standard color for the cover is a heather grey material, but we can special order another color for you for a fee. The final control measurements are taken with the cover on. The cover does not add beyond the total.

Yes! Give us a call and we’ll schedule a free consultation where you can see our demo DittoForm. Of course it will not look like your body but you will be able to feel how easily pins go in and how sturdy it is.
Time and location for a consultation are flexible!
3. Is DittoForm easy to transport and/or store away?
Yes! It is very lightweight (less than 10 lbs or 4.5 kg). It’s very quick and easy to remove it from any stand.
With DittoForm you can easily bring your personal dress form to your Fashion Design class and finally make clothes that fit you (not a generic mannequin) while working on your class assignments! You could bring it to your tailor and eliminate the need to go to numerous fittings!
DittoForm can also be used with most standard stands – so you don’t have to bring yours if other stands are available (like in a school or at a tailor’s office).
4. What if I need to reschedule or cancel my 3D scanning appointment?
We have a 72-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy.
Please call or text us at 1 424 209 8059 as soon as possible. Make sure to leave a message with the details of your booking if the phone is not answered. Please include your name, appointment date, time and the best phone number to reach you.
More than 72 hours before scheduled appointment:
– You can reschedule at no charge
– If you would like to cancel you will received a full refund.
Less than 72-hours but more than 12 hours before your appointment:
– A rescheduling fee $50 will be charged. When you confirm your appointment we book the space for conducting the scan. We are also making arrangements for our staff. We can not recover the fees that we pay once the cancellation window has passed.
– If you need to cancel your appointment you will receive a partial refund – 50% of your booking fee.
If you do not request rescheduling or cancellation at least 12 hours before the time of your appointment we can not issue a refund.
In any scenario we recommend that you notify us about changes in your plans as soon as possible. We will try to find the best possible solution.
In cases of extreme circumstances we will go an extra mile to accommodate your needs.
5. What happens if I gain or lose weight?
Like most professional dress forms, DittoForm is not automatically adjustable by pushing a button.
The foam is carvable, so it can be whittled smaller if you lose weight in a particular area. It can be padded out with batting applied under the cover if you gain weight. DittoForm has some do-it-yourself instructional videos, or if you’d prefer, you can send it back to the manufacturer for adjustments. If this adjustment is minor (less than 1″), in one specific easily identifiable area (your stomach area OR hip area) within three months of your purchase, DittoForm will do the work for free and you pay for shipping costs.
Please note: DittoForm only retains your files for 6 month from the date of shipping.
If your weight loss/gain is larger than one inch or in different areas getting the contours correctly puts us back into the challenges we have when adjusting a commercial dress form. If your weight loss/gain is dramatic and you wish to have another DittoForm made, we will work with you on pricing on a case by case basis. We are particularly empathetic to changes resulting from health challenges.
If you are someone whose weight fluctuates significantly (more than 10 pounds up or down), DittoForm may not be an appropriate product for you. Each DittoForm is custom-crafted for each customer and is not refundable or returnable.
6. Can I order only a 3D scan?
Yes!
Price for ordering a 3D-scan of your torso is $300. Full body 3D-scan (includes arms, legs, and general outline of a head, hands and feet) is $500. Scanning and post-processing of extremities is the most difficult part and requires a lot more time for compiling the data.
7. What if I don’t like my scan?
We will offer you to schedule another 3d scan at a reduced price. We do not offer refunds for scanning and processing once these services have been performed. In case of extreme circumstances we will try our best to find the best possible solution on a case by case basis.
